Oncology: Prostate
Information
The international Prostate Forum presents the latest in prostate cancer treatments with a series of challenge discussions and lectures.
Learning Objectives:
1. Implement both doublet and triplet therapeutic strategies for both synchronous/metachronous advanced prostate cancer patients.
2. Explain the current approved role for PSMA-radioligand therapy and current clinical trials which may expand the indication for PSMA-RLT.
3. Discuss the ever-evolving importance of the multidisciplinary team for managing advanced prostate cancer patients for both optimizing clinical outcomes and patient reported outcomes.
4. Compare the salvage options available for locally recurrent disease, biochemically recurrent and oligometastatic patients.
5. Apply enhanced management for localized prostate cancer, including active surveillance, focal therapy and outlet obstruction issues.
6. Analyze the important improvements in imaging, inclusive of PSMA PET and MRI and how to select testing accordingly.
7. Decipher recent data on the importance of diet, nutrition and exercise throughout the prostate cancer patient journey.
8. Determine the ‘why and how’ to effectively implement genetic testing.
