Learning Objectives
1. Successfully manage the most common postoperative complications after robot-assisted surgical procedures.
2. Successfully manage the most common intraoperative complications after robot-assisted surgical procedures.
3. Report adverse events using standardized collection systems.
4. Prevent the occurrence of the most common intraoperative and postoperative complications after robot-assisted surgical procedures.

Course Description: The course aims at describing the most common complications in robot-assisted surgery (e.g., radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy and partial nephrectomy). The course will focus on the description of available systems for standardizing the collection of complications and on their impact on the rate of adverse reports recorded in the scientific literature. It will then report the rate of intraoperative and postoperative complications and their impact on the patient and the surgeon. Finally, this teaching activity aims at describing how physicians should manage the most common complications in patients undergoing robot-assisted surgical procedures.
